The Qalipu Mi’kmaq First Nation Band Council is working to establish the Qalipu Business Development Centre. The Centre will provide access to training, skills development, community outreach and business planning assistance/support through one-on-one counselling.  This Centre will work in collaboration with other aboriginal, provincial and regional organizations to provide business support and advisory services to a broad range of Mi’kmaq constituencies.

A comprehensive concept study has been prepared outlining the rationale, service delivery structure and funding model. Discussions are presently taking place with potential partner agencies to determine levels of support.
